Ordo Dracul

The Ordo Dracul in Tucson has been around in some form or another since the turn of the century. Following the signing of the Unseelie Accords, they suffered a strong set back, as many vampires blamed them for the confrontation on the University campus that led to the war. They experienced their largest growth following the end of the Carthian Revolution in the 70s, recruiting fresh neonates embraced away from their college lives by careless sires. Although small, the Ordo Dracul wields a formidable amount of power for several reasons. First, one of their own serves as the Prince's hound. Although she is low ranking and Unsworn, she is able to provide the covenant with inside information it might not otherwise have access to. Second, the Gangrel representative on the Primogen council is also a member of the order. While himself Unsworn and considered something of a liability due to his clan weakness, he is guaranteed to plead the covenant's case before the political powers that be in amongst the Kindred of Tucson. Third, since the War of Cross and Crimson they now have access to one of the largest archives of occult texts in Tucson, perhaps the largest in the entire American Southwest. While the Prince does not doubt their loyalty, she is wary of their power. Even now she looks for an opportunity to draw their attention elsewhere.
