Eugene Dozmati

Eugene "Gene" Dozmati was a peripatetic Border Patrol investigator, a veteran of twenty years. He joined the patrol before the 1995 reorganization that closed most of the investigations of undocumented alien activity inside the borders and focused entirely on border security. Although he remains a Senior Patrol Officer, he considers the transfer from investigations to rip-and-run border crosser grabs a demotion. Bitter about the complete disregard for proper priorities among the brass, he is willing to give his old pal Carlos Moore information, even if he's now a mercenary who Gene suspects is working for the other side.
