Charlene Galloway

Galloway, a former member of The Illuminated Lodge, was hit especially hard by the Mind magics used to forcibly tear apart that organization. Although an accomplished ritual magician, she is currently unable to muster much in the way of direct occult action since her willpower has been sapped and channeled into an obsessive focus on her lottery system. This obsession has bankrupted her. Formerly quite wealthy, Galloway lives paycheck-to-paycheck disinfecting and sorting shoes (also obsessively) at the Goodwill on Fourth Avenue, and lives in a small RV trailer in a park in South Tucson, full of suitcases of losing lottery tickets. She clings to the remnants of her wealthy life in the form of pristine and well-kept designer clothing, and smokes with a cigarette holder.

She helped the Gomez family understand the difficulty posed by The Unborn Venom, and in so doing, realized exactly how far she'd fallen. She now warns others against pursuing occult power, believing her brush with it to be responsible for her failing mind.
